Another great reuse of the empty cardboard boxes, a project made over the long weekend. We had just received some mail order and had a couple of empty boxes sitting in the living room. And I cut them up into tiles.
Wrote outlines of alphabets which the kids colored. Later I wrote the scrabble weightage for each letter.
And it was ready for us to play outdoors in the back yard!
I like such projects where I can show the kids that we can do something creative using materials that would otherwise have been thrown out. It cost me a total of $1 – for marker pens. We had fun making these, a good activity for kids. And they were excited to start playing with it.
