Quinoa Adai

What you’ll need:

  • Quinoa – 1 cup
  • Toor Dal – 2/3 cup
  • Channa Dal – 2/3 cup
  • Moong Dal – 1/2 cup
  • Urad Dal – 1/2 cup
  • Curry Leaves – 2 sprigs
  • Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
  • Dry Red Chilies – 2 to 3 or to taste
  • Ginger – 1/2 to 1 inch
  • Salt to taste

Method:

1. Wash and Soak Quinoa, Toor Dal, Channa Dal, Moong Dal and Urad Dal for 4 to 5 hours or overnight.

2. In a blender add all the soaked ingredients and all the remaining ingredients and grind to a coarse batter.

3. Heat and oil a flat (dosa) pan, pour the adai batter and spread and cook on both sides until crisp.
