Indoor Scavenger Hunt – Name Game
Another fun game for kids to play indoors with the bottle caps!
I picked the letters of the boys names from the bottle cap letters that they had made for a previous project – Playing Bottle Caps Alphabet Scrabble.
The letters were placed in different rooms of the house and I drew rough maps with numbers showing where and how many letters were hidden for each kid.
The maps were given to the kids explaining that they should use it to go around the house and collect each of their letters. They were so excited every time they found a cap!
Once collected, they had to identify the words that the letters made – they were not told that the letters were of their names. They quickly identified the letters of their first name. The second part was a bit tricky.
But they got it. Done!
This was a fun game that has been played several times since in different ways.
