Recently a bunch of us friends threw a surprise baby shower for our friends who are expecting a baby girl! I picked the theme Baby Elephant with Pink and Chocolate color schemes for the decor and had a lot of fun planning the event decor.

The party was hosted at one of my friend’s house. The expecting couple were really surprised when they entered, at first because they didnt know why we were all screaming ‘surprise’! Then they saw the banner on the wall in front of them 🙂

In the main area, I had setup a back drop for the dessert and favors table with ribbons, pinwheels, beads and pom poms along with a pink mommy elephant and a baby elephant.

I wanted to refrain from using disposable glasses and cups, so reusing the glass baby bottles and baby food jars turned out great and very appropriate for a baby shower.

To go with the theme, I made elephant name tags for each kid and tied it to baby milk bottles in which the kids enjoyed chocolate milk!

We served yummy pink falooda ice cream and chocolate ice cream in the baby food jars.

Another friend made these cute and yummy cupcakes.. how sweet are they!

I had made these paper flowers and elephant hangings to place on the walls around the rooms and the game wall. Another friend had organized several baby shower games including baby jeopardy, which turned out to be a lot of fun!

Our group has a lot of little kids. So for a keepsake, we made a tree of palm prints by all kids and leaves of thumb prints by all adults.
