Fun ways to serve kids
Getting kids excited about eating a healthy meal can be a challenge! Here are some creative ways of preparing and laying out nutritious food to entice them :) Out in the market there are all sorts of kid’s serve ware – in different shapes, colors and sizes. Although a majority of them are made of plastic, we can easily find several eco-friendly options, which kids will love and find attractive. I have even found that I don’t really need to spend extra on fancy kids serve-ware. Most times they want what grownups have! So, we can just focus on food.
Lunch Boxes
These are the vegetarian lunch and snack boxes I pack for my preschool twin boys. Most of them are made to be easy for 3 & 4 year olds to eat or are finger foods. I try to use organic, fresh and healthy foods to make their meal nutritious. Milk (not shown in images) is included daily. I am a full time working mom and finding time & energy to be creative is sometimes challenging, so there are some quick fixes as well!
